We invited chefs Fadi Kattan, Samin Nosrat, Reem Assil, and Andy Baraghani to help us create Delights featuring Palestinian ingredients.
Mulberry Black Lime, Watermelon Marjoram, Lemon Sumac, Sekanjebin is four-recipe seasonal release, made with local produce and aromatics from Palestine, infused with our sun-grown flower rosin and 2 MG THC. Your purchase is in direct support of Thamra, an organization dedicated to production and distribution of fresh food and construction of urban gardens in Gaza.
Reem Assil’s Mulberry includes a jammy Frog Hollow Farm mulberry puree as well as Palestinean black lime, which balances the berry’s sweetness with a floral tartness.
Samin Nosrat’s Sekanjebin is a chartreuse-colored delight inspired by the flavors of the classic Persian drink, made from a vinegared sweet and tangy syrup of cucumber and fresh mint.
Andy Baraghani’s Lemon combines the flavor of sweet Meyer lemons with the savory tang of Palestinian sumac; think of a more fragrant, complex lemon drop.
Fadi Kattan’s Watermelon begins with freshly harvested melon that we blend into a puree before adding mild marjoram from Palestine, for an earthy, piney note that beautifully compliments our sun-grown flower.
In solidarity, we wish for peace for the people of Palestine, and the liberation for all who are oppressed around the world.
The Mulberry, Watermelon, Lemon, Sekanjebin Delights box was designed by artist Ibrahem Hasan.
$100,000 from the sale of these Delights will be donated to Thamra, an organization dedicated to fresh food production in Gaza.
